Gandhi was one of the most important leaders of the independence of the subcontinent. He had Hindu beliefs regarding religion, but he wrote a lot about religious philosophy and orders. Gandhi wrote this letter in response of reading a book on behalf of Milton Newberry Frantz about Christianity.

Gandhi wrote, 'My dear friend, got your letter. With dignity I cannot believe in the belief that you have invited me. The believers have belief that, Jesus was the highest example of reality. I cannot accept the truth despite all my efforts. I could not cross the belief that Jesus was one of the greatest teachers of humanity. Do not you think? that in order to create a religious consensus, instead of accepting a belief in a reasonable manner should all the believers respect. Rob collection says that according to his research, no letter from Gandhi came to the market in which he mentioned Jesus.
