This included 1800 people from the age of 19 to 32, who were questioned online in 2014, and each was given $ 15 for the survey. The survey had half women and 42 percent of the black Americans were included.
The survey showed that the more social media used by these youth, they were feeling more different from the society. The direct link between social media use and feeling of isolation has been seen. Those who were included in the survey, 61 minutes were found on social media. While people who spent 121 minutes on social media daily, were found more isolated than those who spent 30 minutes daily.
But experts are unable to know whether the use of social media increases the passion of being isolated or social media removes youth from society.
Which factor, is causing the apprehension and this aspect in the research questionnaire was not included.
